Hi, I'm Jackson Smith! I am an AC and aspiring screenwriter-director.

It all started in seventh grade when I auditioned for a role in Karen Allen's short film, A Tree A Rock A Cloud. I got the part and as soon as I stepped on set for that first take, I fell in love with movie making. From there I went on to do work for visual effects pioneer, Douglas Trumbull, who taught me the innovation required to work in the film industry but also that nothing is impossible in this world.

In June of 2022 I decided to try my hand in Los Angeles where I started working as a 2nd AC. Two years later and here I am back again, working as an AC and making my own projects on the side...
